New Update: ID Released For 29-Year-Old Killed In Westchester Crash

Authorities have released the name of a 29-year-old man killed when his vehicle left the roadway in Northern Westchester and crashed into a guardrail.

Mount Kisco resident James Steven Fox, Jr. died on Sunday, Nov. 3 following a crash on the southbound Saw Mill Parkway in Chappaqua, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. 

At around 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, Fox's car had been traveling south on the parkway south of Route 120 when it hit the guardrail. He was then pronounced dead at the scene while his passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The southbound lanes of the parkway were closed in that area for several hours for an investigation by Westchester County PD patrol officers and members of the Accident Investigation Team. 

More information about the cause of the crash was not released.
